GELCLAIR®  works by forming a barrier that protects the nerve endings that cause pain. In clinical studies, GELCLAIR® effectively manage pain and provided relief that helped patients eat and drink more easily. You can eat, drink and take medications while using GELCLAIR®.

GELCLAIR® is available by prescription only. Ask your health care professional if GELCLAIR® is right for you.

Be sure to call your health care professional when your Gelclair® prescription needs to be refilled.

What else should I know about GELCLAIR® ?

  • GELCLAIR® should not be used by anyone with an allergy to the product or any of its ingredients. You should read the list of ingredients on the package and discuss with your health care professional whether you are or may be allergic to any of them.
     
  • If GELCLAIR® is swallowed by mistake, no adverse effects are likely to occur.
     
  • At the time of writing this information, no side effects have been reported in clinical trials with the use of GELCLAIR®. Postmarketing reports have included infrequent complaints of a burning sensation in the mouth.
     
  • GELCLAIR® comes in a convenient single-dose packet so you can take it with you wherever you go.
     
  • Avoid eating and drinking for at least 1 hour after use of GELCLAIR® .
     
  • If no improvement is noticed after 7 days, patients should consult a physician.
     
  • Keep out of reach of children
     
  • Do not use any packet that is not intact (torn, split, or otherwise damaged in any way).
