Pour the entire contents of the single-dose GELCLAIR
packet into a glass and add 1 tablespoon of water (15mL.* |
|
Stir the mixture well and use immediately |
|
Rinse around the mouth for at least 1 minute to coat the entire
inside of the mouth.

Gargle and spit out. |
|
Wait at least 1 hour before eating or drinking. |

* If the solution is
too thick, it may be diluted with an additional 1 to 2
tablespoons of water to achieve the desired consistency.

GELCLAIR is composed of three key ingredients that combine
to provide pain relief to the mucosal surface of the mouth:

Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) protects the mucosa |

Hyaluronic acid
(sodium hyaluronate) hydrates and soothes the
mucosa |

Glycyrrhetinic
acid (licorice root extract) is a mild flavoring
agent gentle on the mucosa |
GELCLAIR has a mechanical action indicated for the
management of pain and relief of pain by adhering to the
mucosal surface of the mouth, soothing oral lesions of
various etiologies, including oral mucositis/stomatitis (may
be caused by chemotherapy or radiation therapy), irritation
due to oral surgery, traumatic ulcers caused by braces or
ill-fitting dentures, or disease. Also indicated for diffuse
aphthous ulcers. GELCLAIR should not be used by patients
with a known or suspected hypersensitivity to the product or
any of its ingredients. Federal law restricts GELCLAIR to
sale by or on the order of a physician or properly licensed
practitioner. |
